Dog bite results in critical injuries in south Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A man in his 70s was rushed to the hospital Friday afternoon after being bitten by two family dogs. The incident occurred shortly before 4 p.m. in the 2500 block of S. Mosley.

Wichita police said that they don’t know why the dogs attacked. They reported that the man went outside when he was attacked by the two pit bulls, receiving bites to his leg and face. Other people inside the home called 911 for help.

The police were able to capture one of the dogs and were working to safely round up the second one. Both dogs will be taken to animal control and placed in quarantine while officials determine the cause of the attack.

Police said they have never been called to that residence in the past for issues related to the dogs.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
