Dog at Arizona shelter has been there for more than 300 days

PHOENIX — One pup in an Arizona shelter is looking for his “fur-ever” home — and he’s hoping he can find it soon.

Mars is a 2-year-old dog who has been at the Arizona Animal Welfare League for more than 300 days. 

AAWL said Mars is a playful pup looking for a dog-savvy household with older adults or respectful children and no cats. 

He loves long walks and hikes and is a staff and volunteer favorite.

“It’s rumored the best cuddles come from Mars!” AAWL said in a news release.

If you are interested in meeting Mars, you can go to the AAWL main shelter on 40th Street in Phoenix. His adoption fee has been waived, so there’s nothing stopping you from finding your new furry best friend!
