SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – A collaboration made a big splash in Sioux Falls over the weekend.
Scheels held its annual Back to School Splash to help kids get ready for the upcoming school year with their needed clothes and supplies, while also teaming up with Dock Dogs.
Dock Dogs is the fastest-growing sport for canines and it includes three different styles of competition: big air, extreme vertical and speed retrieve.
“We love partnering with the Sioux Falls Scheels and we love being able to come out with all of our competitors that jump at Paws and being able to support them here at Dock Dogs,” said Paws Pet Resort’s head trainer Sami Strutz. “It’s really fun just because it’s super interactive with the dogs and their handlers and who doesn’t love dogs running and jumping into the water?”
The event also included a youth sneaker shoe drive, kids face painting, food trucks and more.
