
The Fresno State baseball team will compete in the Los Angeles NCAA Regional, hosted by No. 15 UCLA at Jackie Robinson Stadium, as announced by the NCAA on Monday morning.
Fresno State will join UC Irvine and Arizona State in the regional tournament.
Driving the news: As the fourth seed, Fresno State will face top-seeded UCLA on Friday at 1 p.m. PT. This marks the Bulldogs’ second consecutive regional appearance under Head Coach Ryan Overland and their 37th in the history of the program.
- The team previously participated in the Los Angeles Regional in 2011, alongside USF, UC Irvine, and host UCLA.
- Securing an automatic bid to the NCAA Baseball Championship as the 2025 Mountain West Championship tournament winner, Fresno State is among the 64 teams in the championship, which includes 30 automatic bids and 34 at-large bids selected by an NCAA committee.
