MONROE, La. (KNOE) – Louisiana Tech baseball wrapped up its weekend with a monster win over FIU at the Love Shack. This was game two of the series after it was postponed Saturday due to weather.
Sebastian Mexico once again took center stage as he smoked a grand slam over the right field wall in the bottom of the 8th to give the Bulldogs a commanding 11-5 lead.
Mexico hit a walk-off home run on Friday to give Tech a 5-3 win.
With the wins this weekend, the Bulldogs are now in 1st place in the conference with a 20-12 overall record, 6-2 in CUSA play.
