The Counseling Center, Health Center, and Reed Library are hosting events from Monday, Dec. 9 through the Friday, Dec. 13.
- From Dec. 9 through 13, healthy bites, relaxation kits, and stress relieving activities and crafts will be set up in Reed Library and LoGrasso Health Center.
- On Dec. 9 and 12, at 4 p.m., there will be Zumba and body sculpting with Kathy at the Hemingway Hall Aerobic Center.
- On Wednesday Dec. 11, therapy dogs will be in the OSCAR Room in Reed Library from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., for people to “Paws and Relax.”
- Reed Library Senior Assistant Librarian Christina Hilburger and library intern Owen Wagner have also organized decompress activities, sponsored by the Faculty Student Association, and the Carnahan Jackson Library Endowment established through the Fredonia College Foundation. Students are invited to listen to lo-fi music and relax in low sensory quiet study areas on Dec. 11 from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. Drinks and snacks will be provided. Cookies, coffee and tea will be available for students near the laptop bar, and lo-fi music will be playing throughout the library. The Carnahan Jackson Center, including the library classroom, will be a designated low-sensory, quiet workspace for the day.
