It happened at the Anchor Inn on Saturday, October 12 at around 11.30pm.
When the Moschino bag was “briefly” left at the bar, it was stolen. Police now want to talk to a person captured on CCTV wearing a “distinctive coat”.
Police also want to talk to anyone who may have information about the theft or who was in the area at the time.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers investigating the theft of a handbag from the Anchor Inn in Warminster would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time.

“On Saturday 12 October, at about 11.30pm, a Moschino bag was stolen after being briefly left on the bar.
“We would particularly like to speak to the person pictured in this CCTV image. While her face is indistinct, it is possible that someone may recognise their distinctive coat.
