The RiverPark Center in downtown Owensboro, Kentucky is getting ready for a unique and fabulous fundraiser. It’s called Bourbon & Bags for Broadway and it’s set for Thursday, August 29th.
Bourbon & Bags for Broadway is billed as “the perfect blend of designer handbags and Kentucky’s finest bourbon.” One of the highlights of the evening will most definitely be a live auction, which features your chance to bid on exclusive bourbon bottles that are pared with luxurious handbags, some of which are autographed by master distillers and celebrities.
The evening will also feature a chance to win a coveted Louis Vuitton handbag.
Tickets for the Louis Vuitton raffle are $25 a piece.
In addition to the live auction, there will also be a silent auction featuring “unique treasures and one-of-a-kind items.”
And, you can’t call an event Bourbon & Bags without having lots of bourbon. There will be a bourbon tasting, which will allow you the opportunity to “savor the rich flavors of Kentucky’s iconic bourbons.” To compliment the bourbon, the chefs at Lure will be doing culinary demonstrations and showcasing ‘delicious bites.’
The proceeds from Bourbon & Bags for Broadway will help support Broadway performances at the RiverPark Center and student access to the arts.

Doors for Bourbon & Bags on Broadway open at 5pm with the silent auction and bourbon tasting. The live auction will begin at 6:30pm.
