TAMPA, Fla. — A toddler was hospitalized after being bit by a dog on Sunday morning.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said that they are investigating after a pit bull bit and severely injured a 2-year-old boy at 8:15 a.m. at a home on Spanish Lake Drive.
He was transported as a trauma alert to St. Joseph’s Hospital.
The pit bull belonged to a neighbor, and animal services was notified, deputies said.
