Demi Moore Shares Photos of Her and Her Tiny Dog Pilaf Being ‘a Couple of Weirdos’

Demi Moore and her dog are attached at the (tiny) hip!

The actress, 61, dedicated an entire photo dump to her beloved Chihuahua, Pilaf (who also has an Instagram account of her own!) and the photos are filled with sweet moments between the owner-pet duo.

Captioned “Just a couple of weirdos,” the Oct. 1 Instagram post kicks off with a photo of the sunglasses-clad Substance star smiling as she holds the tiny dog.

Pilaf, meanwhile, sticks his tongue out — a go-to pose for the pup.

Next in the post are several shots of the spots Pilaf — who accompanies Moore almost everywhere — has visited with her famous mom.

In one photo, someone holds up the dollar bill-sized Chihuahua next to a teleprompter that reads, “Our next guest is Hollywood icon…”; in another, someone soaks the dog in a sink for a bath.

Elsewhere in the post, Moore gives Pilaf the appearance of a head of hair using her own locks and tucks the canine into her shirt for a snuggle.

One snapshot shows the pair even going in the pool together. In the photo, the star props Pilaf up on her shoulder as she enjoys some time in the water.

In the last slide, Moore shares a screenshot of a meme about herself and Pilaf and how the dog adds to Moore’s mystique.

The post, shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), includes a photo of the actress on the red carpet at a recent screening of her film, The Substance—holding Pilaf, of course.

Alongside the snap, the poster shared a complimentary message that Moore herself seemingly endorses. “She is so fab… The weird little dog adds to her aura,” they wrote.

Moore and Pilaf not only go everywhere together — including to bed, where they sleep side by side every night — but they also appear in magazines together.

In August, the actress’s tiny Chihuahua graced the covers of Dogue, Vogue‘s digital cover project devoted to “celebri-dogs.”

In the accompanying story, Moore opened up about how her fellow “weirdo” came into her life, revealing that daughter Tallulah Willis found the pup, born in Thailand, on Facebook during the pandemic and arranged for her to be flown to Los Angeles.

The dog — who Moore nicknamed “the Little Mouse” — “was meant to be with me,” she told Dogue. “And I was meant to be with her.”

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
