Demi-Leigh Tebow found inspiration for her debut children’s book close to home.
On April 1, Tebow, 29, released Princess Paris Finds Her Purpose via Tommy Nelson, a division of Thomas Nelson.
The kid’s book follows Paris, a royal Dalmatian living in Tebow’s home country of South Africa. Paris goes on a safari to meet the king of the animal kingdom and loses her crown. The pup is distraught over losing her crown, which she feels defines her and her purpose, but she discovers a new way of looking at herself and the world after working together with other animals.
“This story is a reminder that true value isn’t something we earn — it’s something we already have,” the author and soon-to-be mom told PEOPLE in a statement.
While crafting Princess Paris Finds Her Purpose‘s message of community and kindness, Tebow looked to her own pooches for guidance. The 2017 Miss Universe winner is a dog mom to three pups she shares with her husband, Tim Tebow.

The canine trio is affectionately known as the “Tebow Pack” and includes Paris the Dalmatian, Kobe the golden retriever, and Chunk the Bernese mountain dog. Demi-Leigh’s pet Dalmatian served as a model for the book’s dog character of the same name, but the philanthropist also found inspiration in her other dogs.

“Dogs have this incredible way of loving unconditionally, no matter what. Chunk brings me my slippers every morning, Kobe has never met a single person he didn’t instantly love, and Paris is fiercely loyal to her pack,” Demi-Leigh shared.
“Their selfless love inspired Princess Paris Finds Her Purpose. I wanted kids to see that real purpose in life isn’t about status or titles, but about how you treat others—showing kindness and serving those in need,” she added.
Paris may be the star of the new book, but fans of the Tebow Pack will notice that every furry member appears in the illustrated pages.

Princess Paris Finds Her Purpose is Demi-Leigh’s first children’s book, but not her time as an author. In 2024, she released her debut book, A Crown That Lasts: You Are Not Label, a personal account of her life after transferring her Miss Universe title.
Along with celebrating the release of Princess Paris Finds Her Purpose, Demi-Leigh is preparing for parenthood. She and Tim are expecting their first child, a girl, in 2025.
Princess Paris Finds Her Purpose is available for purchase now.
