Several warrants for animal cruelty have been served for a Mocksville man after multiple emaciated small dogs were found in his home, according to the Davie County Sheriff’s Office. On Friday, Sept. 13, deputies said they executed a search warrant in the 400 block of Hobson Drive. When deputies arrived, they said they found 11 Chihuahua-type dogs at the home. Warrants were served for Nathan Lee Tanner, 30, for the following:
- One felony count for cruelty to animals
- 10 misdemeanor counts of cruelty to animals.
