
DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — On Monday, Davidson County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home on Parks Pond Drive on reports of alleged animal cruelty against multiple dogs.
Investigators soon learned that Kimberly Howard owned 11 domestic dogs, despite past animal crime convictions dating back to January.
She was court-ordered at this time to not to be in possession, care, or custody of any domestic dogs.
Deputies were able to take all 11 dogs out of the home, and arrested Howard on Felony Animal Cruelty, 10 Misdemeanor counts of Animal Cruelty, County Ordinance Violation for failing to provide current Rabies Vaccinations, and County Ordinance Violations of being over a limit of having over six 6 dogs not spayed/neutered.
