Our Darkhorse Dog of the week is sweet James.
He is with private rescuer Julie Clark and he desperately needs a home, or even a foster to help him get out of a streeful boarding environment.
James is the most gentle guy you will ever meet. He had a previous foster who adored him, but her dogs weren’t nice to him and tried to attack him. James needs a peaceful place to live during his senior life.
Instead, he’s stuck in boarding, waiting for someone to take a chance on him.
Private rescuer Julie Clark has been fighting for James, but with no foster offers and boarding costs piling up—now exceeding $600 per month—she needs help. No senior dog should spend months in a kennel when they should be pampered and loved.
James Needs One of Three Things:
- A foster home – Just someone to care for him temporarily until his forever home is found.
- An adopter – He is available for local adoption to the perfect home with vet references.
- Financial help – If you can’t foster or adopt, consider donating toward his boarding and care.
If James is not adopted locally, he has a committed Northern rescue ready to take him once he completes heartworm treatment. But he needs a safe place now.
James is in Brandon, MS, and surrounding areas. Transport can be arranged.
