CUYAHOGA COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – The Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter (CCAS) is offering reduced dog adoption fees until July 31 due to high capacity, according to a release.
Adoptions will cost $30 compared to the normal $95.
Adoption fees will include spay and neuter services, vaccines, a 2024 dog license, microchipping and a current rabies tag.
The CCSA partnered with Bissel Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters nationwide event where it will donate $50 to CCSA for every adoption.
The rise in capacity has created a critical need for temporary foster homes which allow space for incoming animals, the release read.
Those interested in fostering can email the shelter at foster@cuyahogacounty.us or stop in during business hours.
The CCSA is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
