Humans have long known the comfort and colors of Crocs, but now the beloved shoe brand is expanding to serve a new species.
On Wednesday, Oct. 9, Crocs announced it will release Pet Crocs, a version of the classic Crocs clog made for dogs. The new product is part of a collaboration with BARK, the dog toy maker and pet product subscription service. BARK helped Crocs design the upcoming dog shoes.
According to Crocs, the inspiration for Pet Crocs came from years of fan requests for dog shoes and the countless photos the brand has received of animals trying on human Crocs.
Pet Crocs will be available for purchase starting Oct. 23, which is — appropriately — Croc Day. Dog owners looking to outfit their furry friends in Pet Crocs can find the new launch on Crocs.com on that date.
Like Crocs designed for humans, Pet Crocs are crafted to be durable and comfortable. They feature holes for Jibbitz and the Crocs logo. The dog shoes will be available in three sizes: small, medium, and large, and they are designed to fit dogs who weigh up to 80 pounds.

Pet parents who like the look of Pet Crocs — which launch on Oct. 23 in two new glow-in-the-dark colorways for Crocs: Green Slime and Pink Dragon Fruit — are in luck. Dog owners can purchase a matching human pair of Classic Lined Clogs on the same date as the Pet Crocs launch.
Soon, dogs and their families can strut the streets together in matching glow-in-the-dark Crocs, which will be released just in time for Halloween trick-or-treating.
To get a pair of Pet Crocs and human Crocs to match, visit Crocs.com on Oct. 23.
