HOUSTON — On Sept. 26, husband-and-wife duo Chuck Norris and Gena Norris officially launched their premium dog nutrition brand — Lone Wolf Ranch Pets. The brand specializes in air-dried, nutrient-rich formulas for dogs.
Chuck Norris is well-known for his iconic roles as a star in several action movies and is a world champion martial artist and military veteran. Additionally, the Norrises have been devoted parents to many dogs over the years, including several golden retrievers, and share an unwavering love for their pups.
Despite applying their adventurous lifestyle and providing their pups with exceptional care, the Norrises’ dogs faced common health issues, including premature health problems and shortened lifespans. Determined to help support their dogs’ health and longevity, the couple embarked years of research, eventually creating their own nutrient-rich diet that mimics what dogs would naturally consume in the wild.
Inspired by their diet’s success and hoping to support other dogs’ health, the Norrises launched Lone Wolf Ranch Pets. The brand is named after the Norris family’s home in Texas.
Lone Wolf Ranch Pets’ formulas are air-dried to preserve nutrients to help ensure dogs receive optimal nutrition for an active lifestyle. Traditional dog food formulas are often cooked at high temperatures, which can degrade several vital nutrients, like vitamins A, E and B, according to the brand.
The brand’s first products include a complete-and-balanced diet, air-dried treats and a supplement. All products are made with artificial preservatives or additives.
Power Foods Complete is a high-protein, air-dried, complete-and-balanced formula. Made with ranch-raised beef, beef organ meats, beef cartilage and beef marrow, as well as vegetables and several functional ingredients, the food can help support the microbiome and overall health. The formula also helps support smooth digestion, muscle health and a glossy coat.
Power Foods Treats are air-dried treats formulated with two ingredients: beef heart and bovine plasma. High in protein, the treats aim to support muscle health in pups.
Power Motion is a hip and joint supplement formulated with several functional ingredients, including Omega 3, curcuminoids, MSM, marine collagen, glucosamine, chondroitin and eggshell.
