
Police say a child and woman were found dead inside a southern Indiana home on Monday, and it’s believed one of them was killed by a dog.The Huntingburg Police Department was dispatched to 107 N Geiger St around 3:37 p.m. about a person found inside with blood on them. Huntingburg is about an hour east of New Albany.When officers made their way into the home, they found a woman and child unresponsive. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the child was taken to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead.Police say they believe one of the victims was killed by a dog. They did not specify which one they believe was killed by a dog or how the other victim died.All of the dogs that were inside the home were removed, according to police. They did not say how many dogs were inside the home either.Foul play is not suspected.The investigation into the case is ongoing.
