MARION, Ohio (WCMH) – According to its website, the Marion Area Humane Society is a place for residents to safely surrender their pets, knowing they will be well cared for and given good homes.
As a result, the humane society often has a number of animals available to loving homes. Below are some of them, including two long-term residents of the humane society.
Eleanor
- 2-year-old female pit mix
- Fastest dog in the world
- Eleanor loves to run circles around the humane society’s yard. She is a fan of all people and other dogs.
- Has been at the society for one year and two months.
Zoey
- 3-year-old female mixed breed
- Kind and hyperactive family dog
- Loves car rides and going on adventures. Zoey is a very social dog and would love an active lifestyle.
- Zoey has been with the humane society for nearly a year.
