Cats and dogs and other animals available for adoption at local animal shelters

Spirit is available for adoption at the Greenhill Humane Society in Lane County.

Greenhill Humane Society

Spirit and Stout are 6 years old and bonded. These two boys are extremely handsome and would love nothing more than a relaxing home to spend their days playing, window watching, and cat napping.

They adore sitting in laps and receiving lots of attention. Spirit has grey short hair and has a very charming personality and enjoys being brushed, while Stout has brown and white long hair and likes chin scratches and warm blankets.

Both cats could do well with children as long as they respect their space and we suspect they can live with a dog after a slow, supervised introduction. They are neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines.

Stout is available for adoption at the Greenhill Humane Society in Lane County.

Greenhill Humane Society is open seven days a week, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 88530 Green Hill Rd in Eugene. For more information call (541) 689.1503 or visit www.green-hill.org.

Oregon Coast Humane Society

Buddha is available for adoption at the Oregon Coast Humane Society in Lane County.

Buddha is a young terrier mix looking for the right home. He loves to go on walks and is very good on leash.

On a sunny day, you can catch Buddha hanging out with his friends (his size). Otherwise, he likes to snuggle up in his favorite bed with a chew toy and will dance for a tasty treat.

Buddha had a rough start to life, so he’s looking for someone who will be patient and willing to work with him.

At just over 20 pounds, he’s the perfect size!

If you are considering a new addition to your family, come meet Buddha! You may fill out an application online or stop by the shelter. Call (541) 997-4277 to learn more!

Cat Rescue and Adoption Network

Sam is available for adoption at the Cat Rescue and Adoption Network in Lane County.

Sam is a short-haired, tiger-striped, 11-month-old cat who has some dramatic Bengal-like markings.

According to staff with the Cat Rescue and Adoption Network, this bouncy and high-energy boy is good with other cats, humans, small dogs —you name it. He also loves to explore and hasn’t met a toy he doesn’t like.

Sam has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for FIV and FeLV.

To meet Sam at the Eugene-Springfield Cat Lounge, please call 541-225-4955 option 1, or visit CatRescues.org for more info.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
