Can you spot the two dogs hiding in this pile of leaves?

Two dogs have been celebrating the start of their favorite season, and the internet is obsessed.

English Labrador Stella and her sister, Mabel, have long been delighting followers on their dedicated TikTok account, @dognamedstella.

Their owner, Jody, told Newsweek that Stella has been “making people laugh and smile for 10+ years online, through the antics her human ‘doguments’ and shares with the world.”

Living in Maine, where the changing of the seasons turns the foliage bright and beautiful, Jody said 4-year-old Mabel “wasted no time joining in on the fun and following in Stella’s footsteps, especially during the best time of year—leaf jumping season”.

A recent viral video to their account showed Jody walking toward a giant pile of leaves, with words on the video telling viewers: “Wait for it…”

As Jody walked closer, it still appeared to be a normal unassuming leaf pile. Until, beneath the pile, a perfectly camouflaged dog nose could be seen hiding and the Lab’s dark eyes barely visible.

Saying nothing, Jody walked on and around the pile—where another nose could be seen poking through the leaves, getting a good sniff at the fall air.

“It’s getting weird around here,” Jody wrote in the caption.

The simple clip was beloved by TikTok users, gaining over 16 million views and 2 million likes just days after being shared on October 15.

Almost 40,000 people commented on the video, one jokingly describing it as “the hills have snoots”.

“One was funny but two was hilarious,” another said, as another agreed: “The second one sent me.”

And as one user joked: “The dog wood trees are growing nicely this year.”

Jody told Newsweek that his pups take “advantage of everything the four seasons have to offer,” but it appears fall’s leaf piles have a special place in their hearts.

With accounts on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube, Jody has been making videos with Stella, and now Mabel, “for quite a while.”

Speaking with pride, Jody said the dogs are “getting close to 3 million followers between platforms online.”

Labrador retrievers have long been among the most popular breeds in the United States, known for being affectionate with family, good with other dogs, and good with young children, according to the American Kennel Club (AKC).

For a whopping 31 years, Labradors were the number one breed in America, before being dethroned by the French bulldog in 2022. Now they are the second-most popular breed in the U.S, followed by the golden retriever, German shepherd and poodle, according to the AKC.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
