Caddo coroner names woman killed in apparent dog attack

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office has identified a woman who was killed in a dog attack on Sunday, July 7.

Joni Hatcher, 59, was found inside a home in the 7800 block of Womack Road just after 11:30 a.m. She was last seen alive by a neighbor at 8 p.m. the night before. The neighbor reportedly told police that Hatcher had been taking care of the homeowner’s dogs while he was gone.

Officials say Hatcher’s injuries are consistent with an attack by an animal, possibly a dog or dogs.

The death remains under investigation and an autopsy has been ordered.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
