A Feather Falls woman found dead along a trail is believed to have been killed by a dog, the Butte County Sheriff’s Office said.The body of 56-year-old Davina Corbin was found in the early morning hours Thursday on Blackhawk Trail.During the autopsy, officials said the forensic pathologist found numerous bite marks and injuries, indicating a domestic dog attack.Deputies searched a residence near where Corbin was found, and approximately 25 Great Dane dogs were located, the sheriff’s office said.Officials said 23 of the dogs were captured and turned over to animal control, and detectives are working to capture the two others.The sheriff’s office said a lab is in the process of testing Corbin’s clothing to determine which dog or dogs attacked her.Officials said Corbin lived in the area and was believed to be on a walk when the attack happened.Anyone with information about the attack is asked to contact Detective Mike Worch or Detective Casey Whitney at 530-538-7671.
