Bull Dogs win Connersville invite

CONNERSVILLE — The Columbus North gymnasts put up their best score of the season Saturday in rolling to the Connersville Invitational championship.

The Bull Dogs scored a 110.425 to easily outdistance runner-up Bloomington South’s 101.25.

North took the top two places in the all-around competition, led by Reese Euler’s winning score of 38.275. Euler won the vault (9.5), bars (9.7), beam (9.425) and floor (9.65).

Hayden Harper finished second on the bars (9.225), third on the floor (9.5), fourth on the vault (8.975), eighth on the beam (8.725) on her way to a second-place all-around finish with a 36.425.

Ellie McIntier and Hannah Perry tied for second on the vault (9.0) and 10th on the bars (8.3), and Emerson Chambers finished third on the bars (8.975) and sixth on the floor (8.9). McIntier tied for fifth on the floor (9.25), Perry took seventh on the floor (8.85) and Peyton Hewitt was ninth on the beam (9.475) and
