Bull Dogs fall to Center Grove, BNL

GREENWOOD — Columbus North softball dropped a pair of games in Saturday’s Center Grove Classic, falling to Center Grove 16-5 in five innings and Bedford North Lawrence 8-6.

The Bull Dogs scored in the top of the first against Center Grove, but the Trojans came back with 10 in the bottom of the first. Bailee Scruggs went 3 for 3 with a double and three RBIs, Miley McClellan went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs and Morgan Jarvis went 2 for 3.

Payton Morris went 2 for 4, and Summer Williams went 2 for 4 with a triple and two RBIs for North (5-6) against BNL.
