Bull Dogs down Red Devils

JEFFERSONVILLE — Columbus North won four matches in straight sets Saturday in posting a 4-1 girls tennis win at Jeffersonville.

Aya Saad blanked Eva Ellis 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, Lucy Bergman beat Abi Lemon 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and Molly Richards topped Jocelyn Olsen 6-0, 7-6 (3) at No. 3 singles for the Bull Dogs (4-0). Grace Conner and Lizzie Bodart defeated Elizabeth Shearer and Kaylee Boyles 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.

North’s Annabelle Sun and Nino Akalaya fell to Claire Stock and Abby Leep 6-4, 7-6 (11) at No. 1 doubles.
