Bull Dogs cruise to pair of victories

RAMSEY — Columbus North rolled to a pair of softball wins Saturday at North Harrison, beating the host Cats 9-0 and North Oldham (Kentucky) 14-2 in five innings.

Bailee Scruggs threw a two-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts and no walks and went 2 for 4 with a double at the plate against North Harrison. Miley McClellan went 3 for 3 with two RBIs, and Payton Morris had a double and four RBIs.

Morris threw a four-hitter and went 2 for 4 at the plate against North Oldham. Scruggs went 3 for 3, Summer Williams went 2 for 4 with a double and three RBIs, McClellan went 2 for 4 with a triple and two RBIs and Destinee Allman had two RBIs for the Bull Dogs (11-10).
