Building owner rescues dogs from kennel fire Wednesday

A building fire in rural Linn County could have turned tragic Wednesday evening, but quick action by the owner saved several dogs.

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office says crews were called to a fire at 2061 Coggon Road around 8 p.m. When they arrived, a metal building housing multiple dogs and kennels was in flames.

Officials say the owner managed to rescue all the dogs before firefighters arrived.

No injuries were reported, but the building suffered major damage.

Authorities believe an electrical issue likely caused the fire.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
