Locals no longer have to travel to the East Coast to taste authentic New York-style hot dogs. Instead, they can head to the new Brooklyn Dawgs in Denton to taste authentic hot dogs shipped straight from New York.
“What you taste in New York City is exactly what you’re going to taste in that hot dog,” Brooklyn Dawgs co-owner Rene Torres said.
Brooklyn Dawgs, 119 Ave. A, opened its storefront in early October. The business offers authentic New York-style hot dogs in Denton.
