GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) — The Barren River Animal Welfare Association is asking for the public’s help after four dogs were abandoned outside the shelter Wednesday morning.
The shelter is closed to the public on Wednesdays for routine cleaning, and adoptions or drop-offs are not accepted on that day.
Surveillance video shows a man pulling into the parking lot, unloading four dogs, and driving away. The dogs were left unattended for a brief time.

Thanks to a few staff members who were on-site, the dogs were quickly brought inside and are now safe and being cared for.
Shelter staff are now trying to identify the man and the vehicle seen in the footage, and they hope someone in the community can help.
If you recognize the man or the vehicle involved, you’re asked to contact BRAWA at 270-651-7297.
