Should I be surprised the brand that made acrylic heels with a “blunt” fashionably rolled inside dropped my new dream accessory? No, but Brandon Blackwood did it again.
The eponymous New York City-based label, best known for its handbags and other accessories, recently unveiled its latest collection, featuring new riffs on classics as well as four new styles. My favorite one is the Luna, a shoulder bag taking its name from the Spanish word for its moon-like shape. Available in 10 colors, it also bears a “B” buckle on the outside, and retails for $350. Personally, I gravitate towards red handbags, since they can easily spice up a look, especially a neutral outfit.
Few do it like Blackwood, who counts Beyoncé as a client and has garnered a CFDA Award nomination for his work. I’d bet he has another hit on his hands with this bag.
