Ducky’s Doggie Delights and Myduh’s Dog Apparel held the third annual Halloween doggie costume contest Saturday at the Wichita Falls dog park at Lake Wichita.
From chihuahuas to Labradors to great Danes, dogs in every size came dressed up in a costume.
The dogs had their pictures taken as they entered the dog park gate. The pictures were posted on Facebook, and community members cast their votes for best costume.
The winners were:
- First place, Harlee, Murphy and friends
- Second place, Nova
- Third place, Jake
The first place winner is receiving a Halloween trick-or-treat bag that consists of three treat bags, a cupcake and six iced cookies from Ducky’s Doggie Delights.
The other winners are also receiving prizes, and every dog was included since they went home with a Halloween doggie goodie bag.
Emily’s Legacy Rescue was in attendance in hopes of getting some adoptions from the community.
Dog apparel and items were sold from Ducky’s Doggie Delights, Myduh’s Dog Apparel as well as the Wichita County Humane Society. Trick-or-treating and a bounce house was available for kids.
