BOCA RUDETON: Dogs On The Beach, Bad Rivian Parking

Welcome To Boca Rudeton For Sunday. The Rudeness Is Raging In Boca, Delray, Boynton, And Beyond…

Welcome to Boca Rudeton for Sunday, where dogs play on beaches were dogs are banned, and drivers of $100k EVs park wherever they want.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — We paused Boca Rudeton for a few weeks due to the seriousness of news in the region. But we’re back this Sunday and showing just how rude some of your neighbors and South Florida visitors truly are. From the beaches to Publix, from Subculture Coffee to Seasons 52, welcome to Boca Rudeton.

Dogs are not permitted on beaches in South Florida, including Red Reef park in Boca Raton.

We are starting with Red Reef Park, where anyone who can read knows that dogs are absolutely prohibited on the beach. That’s not just a Boca thing, that’s South Florida thing. You can’t bring your dog to the beach. But that apparently didn’t stop the lovely couple above from bringing their dog to the beach. We don’t know why they’re special. We also don’t know if they were ultimately ticketed. We can only hope.

Let’s quickly move to the other side of the region — the Somerset Shops at Glades and Lyons. That’s where we find the driver of this white Rivian creating a parking spot. It turns out if you spend $100,000 for what many call a second-rate EV, you can park wherever you want. We really don’t know what the driver of this Rivian with Florida plate KTAZ10 was thinking. Maybe there was an emergency at Off Fifth. Maybe the driver is just selfish, elitist, and rude.

Fire lanes are for fire trucks, not BMWs with Florida plate RHJQ47.

While we’re talking about parking, let’s drive over to the Publix at Woodfield. That’s where we find the driver of this BMW 528i with Florida tag RHJQ47 also parking wherever he or she wants. Fire lanes exist so fire trucks can quickly access something burning. They don’t exist for rude Boca Raton residents, or visitors, to park closer to a supermarket. If you know the person who drives the BMW with Florida plate RHJQ47, you may want to tell them what happens in parking lots.

At Seasons 52 in Boca Raton, a dog hiding under a table is still a dog in a restaurant. And no, it’s not okay.

Back to the dogs, and the often challenged Seasons 52 in Boca Raton. We actually received a number of photos over the past few weeks from people astonished — and grossed out — that dogs are frequently seen in Seasons 52. The restaurant has had its problems over the years, but it seems now to be heading for the dogs… which of course is illegal under federal and Florida laws and statutes. Maybe someone thinks dogs are okay in a restaurant if the dog is hiding under a table. It’s not.

That man purse is big, but the dog is bigger at Seabra Bakery in Boca Raton. Dogs are not supposed to be in restaurants.

To Seabra Bakery at 465 NE Spanish River Boulevard in Boca Raton now where a woman without a purse, a man with a purse, and a huge dog were all seen inside. While we won’t comment on the man purse, we will comment on the dog, which doesn’t belong in a restaurant where food is served in the open. We don’t know why that dog was permitted in the store. We also don’t know why anyone would feel safe eating baked goods from a store where a dog is permitted inside.

%%
At Subculture Coffee in Delray Beach, you can lounge on a couch, drink free water, and tie your dog to a table.

Dogs are also not supposed to be in coffee shops. So we wonder why the dog above — despite its cuteness — was permitted in Subculture near Federal Highway in Delray Beach. It must be nice to have so little to do that you can get a free cup of water, relax on a couch, and have your dog be leashed to a table in a restaurant where it does not belong.

NOT OKAY. This woman with a dog in Whole Foods in Delray Beach apparently thinks she’s allowed to bring dogs inside, even though dogs are not permitted in supermarkets.

At the Whole Foods on Linton Boulevard in Delray Beach, our tipster wants to know why management didn’t kick out the woman with the dog. Dogs are not allowed in supermarkets in Florida. A reader called it “gross.” We agree.

%%
At Aldi at Atlantic Avenue and Hagen Ranch Road, this woman has a dog inside. Dogs are not supposed to be inside supermarkets.

At Aldi in Delray Beach near Atlantic and Hagen Ranch Road, this woman also apparently suffers from DSS, or Dog In Store Syndrome. Again, dogs are not permitted in supermarkets. It turns out there are laws and statutes designed to keep humans safe. But never mind if you are so self-important that rules don’t apply.

Yet again, a dog is in Joseph’s Classic Market at Boca Raton Town Center Mall, the management is doing nothing. Despite signs that prohibit dogs from the store.

And we’ll wrap this edition at Joseph’s Classic Market at Boca Raton Town Center Mall, where it seems every week we receive multiple photos of dogs in the market despite huge signs telling customers that dogs are absolutely not allowed. We don’t know why Joseph’s has such a problem keeping dogs out, or why customers feel that rules do not apply. There’s lots of open food sold at Joseph’s, so we encourage our readers to think multiple times before shopping in a store that seems to look the other way when drooling doggies do what they do.

There are lots of great nominations this week, but only one Rude person can truly win the Boca Rudeton award. And for that, we turn to White Rivian Driver! Yes, driver of White Rivian with Florida plate KTAZ10, you are the rudest of them all this week! We know… while you’re patting yourself on the back, you’re likely wondering what you won. Our prize for you is very special. It’s the “BocaNewsNow.com Guide To Investing and Parking.” You’re likely asking yourself, “huh, what does investing have to do with parking?” Great question. Our answer: we have compiled a guide for places you could park the $100,000 that you instead spent on a not-as-cool-as-you-think-it-is Rivian. We feel that you need the guide because your investment fund parking is probably very similar to your vehicle parking. Sloppy, centrist, and poorly executed. Keep checking your Rivian screen. Instructions for claiming your prize may eventually appear.

We remind our readers that there is no expectation of privacy in a public place. Don’t want to be seen here? Don’t be rude here! Send your submissions to us using the menu buttons above. The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
