BOCA RUDETON: Dogs In Airport Clubs, Publix, Joseph’s And More

Those Rude People Keep Attacking Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, and Palm Beach County With Grossness… Welcome To Boca Rudeton™

Two dogs, and two grownups in pajamas, at the Escape Lounge in Palm Beach International Airport. American Express once meant class…

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2025 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — We spring forward this Sunday with more rude people permeating South Florida. From Palm Beach International Airport to a Boca Raton Publix where huge signs tell people that no dogs are allowed, the joy of South Florida living for the un-rude continues. Fasten your seatbelts and tighten your leash… here we go…

Publix at Woodfield Plaza in Boca Raton is where this woman apparently ignored the giant “no pets” sign. And we remind you, Emotional Support Animals aren’t actually service animals.

Publix at Woodfield Plaza is where we find a woman with her dog. Apparently this Bounty-fan couldn’t read the gigantic signs that tell people that pets are banned in Publix. We note that Emotional Support Animals — if perhaps this woman needs emotional support — are not permitted. And this dog doesn’t look like it’s highly trained to provide lifesaving care. Maybe it is. Maybe we’re wrong.

Publix No Pet Signs
What part of this sign is challenging to read? Apparently for the woman above in the Woodfield Plaza Publix, the big words that read “no pets allowed.”

Like our tipster, we think something doesn’t look quite right. It appears that the multiple Publix employees are just ignoring the policy they’re supposed to be enforcing. Publix. Shopping is always a pleasure.

Why are dogs in the Escape Lounge at PBIA? And why are there two of them? And why are these grownups wearing pajamas? So many questions…

At Palm Beach International Airport’s Escape Lounge — which we realize isn’t exactly nice but it’s as good as it gets on the American/United/Southwest Airlines side of things — this couple apparently thought it was a dog park. Or that their Amex Platinum card included two adults and two dogs on a long leash. Nothing says “Amex Platinum” better than rude people with two dogs on long leashes. As multiple people stared at the woman with the dogs, she obliviously carried on while she and her man talked to each other while keeping AirPods in their ears.

Ever see the signs all over PBIA that say dogs are required to be carriers? Apparently these people heading for a Philadelphia-bound did not.

She and her man were later seen walking through the terminal on her way to a Philly-bound flight. Never mind those airport signs at PBIA that require all dogs to be in carriers. What’s the saying about money and class? #AthleisurewearAlways.

Is this a tiger in the Walmart at Palmetto and 441 in Boca Raton? Or just a dog that shouldn’t be in a food store?

At the Walmart at Palmetto Park Road and U.S. 441, we find this man with what appears to be a tiger, but we believe it is actually just an unnecessarily large dog in a store that sells food. Whether it’s a tiger or a dog is irrelevant. It shouldn’t be there. Our tipster ponders why Walmart didn’t say anything. Maybe like customers near the dog, they were afraid.

Joseph’s Italian Market continues to have a dog problem. It doesn’t enforce its own rules, which are actually Florida statutes. This man and is dog were seen at the Joseph’s Boca Raton Town Center Mall.

Joseph’s Italian Market at Boca Raton Town Center Mall continues to be a place where disgusting people bring their disgusting dogs. Despite signs that demand people keep their pets outside, this man apparently decided it was just fine to bring the dog into the store. Our tipster says store workers did nothing.

Let’s go to parking, and we’ll start at the Fresh Market on Federal Highway in Delray Beach. Our tipster wants to know why this person can’t park in one space. Driver of a Nissan Murano Florida plate 08JLC, we wonder too.

%%

And at the Park Creek surgery center on State Road 7 in Coconut Creek, it seems the driver of this Red Lexus with Florida plate KZIY55 also has a problem seeing lines. It takes talent to park in two spaces at once. So this person must be exceptionally talented.

So who is our winner for this Boca Rudeton™ edition? It has to be the Philadelphia-bound travelers with their dogs at Palm Beach International Airport. Dogs are required to be in carriers at the airport. Signs all over the airport make that clear. And there is no situation where two dogs should be permitted into the “Escape Lounge” which is partially owned by American Express. Apparently these people couldn’t leave home without…the dogs. Our readers know that we don’t really give prizes, but if we did, it would be the schedule from a local middle school. It seem that’s the closest these people will ever come to class.

PBIA No Dogs
Signs like these are all over Palm Beach International Airport.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
