BLACK LICK WOMAN CHARGED WITH ILLEGAL KENNEL OPERATION DUE FOR HEARING TODAY

A Black Lick woman is due in Indiana County Court today concerning a case where dogs were found in deplorable conditions.

60-year-old Manilla Mae Shirley faces a misdemeanor charge of unlawful operation of a kennel without a license and 30 summary counts of failure to have rabies shots connected with an investigation that happened on October 8.  When state police arrived at the home, they found over 30 dogs living in deplorable conditions, and the Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement was immediately contacted.  31 dogs were seized and transferred to a nearby shelter.  Those dogs were groomed and nursed back to health before being eventually adopted.

Today’s preliminary hearing will be held before District Judge Robert Bell Sr.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
