Bethesda Yappy Hour, Pop-Up Dog Park Returns July 18

Montgomery Parks and the Bethesda Urban Partnership will host three Yappy Hours at the Elm Street Urban Park starting Thursday, July 18.

Pups and their humans can enjoy live music and some quality socialization. Canine companions can count on plenty of fresh water. Smoke BBQ will be on site at each Yappy Hour selling food, beer, and wine. Admission to Yappy Hour is free.

Elm Street Urban Park is located at 4600 Elm Street in Bethesda.

The first Yappy Hour is on Thursday, July 18 from 6-8 p.m. Listen to live music by Andrew O’Day.

Yappy Hour returns in the fall on Thursday, Sept. 19, from 6-8 p.m., with a performance by The New Rockwells.

The third and final Yappy Hour of the year takes place on Thursday, Oct. 10, from 5-7 p.m., with live music by Swing5.

Yappy Hours are free, require no registration and are lots of fun for dogs and humans alike.

The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines.
