Authorities seize dogs, lizards from Jersey City home described as an illegal breeding facility, Nov. 20, 2024

Numerous dogs and reptiles were seized Nov. 20, 2024, from a home on Clendenny Avenue in Jersey City that authorities described as an illegal breeding facility. Among the reptiles was at least one turtle and several lizards. Among those helping to recover the animals were Municipal Prosecutor Jake Hudnut and Jersey City police Capt. Joe Olszewski.
