OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – First responders report all involved in an interstate crash Friday are expected to survive.
Crews with the Crestview Fire Department said they and the Holt Fire Department were called to the scene on Interstate 10 near mile marker 52. Pictures from the scene show a car was crushed between a concrete barrier and a tractor trailer. They said a helicopter was called in to transport one patient that reportedly had non-life-threatening injuries.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office reported a dog was rescued from the car and was tended to by deputies. They added all westbound traffic on I-10 was diverted onto Highway 90 as the scene was cleared.
