ARL: Breeder surrenders license in Boone County, 46 more dogs recovered

The ARL said law enforcement was also at the property as the breeder surrendered their license and commercial breeding operations were halted.

Following the rescue, the ARL had to open emergency overflow housing in its training center as it is faced with already full kennels.

The recent rescues will need medical and dental surgeries, grooming to remove matted fur, and behavioral help. Puppies as young as two weeks old will need nurtured. All will receive spaying or neutering.

The ARL is now asking for help as it faces extreme levels of animals in its care, and donations made to support the animals can be made online or by mail/in-person  at 5452 NE 22nd St., Des Moines, IA 50313; RE: Boone County Rescue.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
