Animal shelter needs help after rescuing 17 neglected dogs

ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — In Estill County, the animal shelter is asking for help after taking in more than a dozen dogs from a case of animal cruelty and neglect.

The shelter says 17 dogs were rescued in the case. The dogs are sick with mange and other health issues.

According to the shelter, it’s now in desperate need of help from other shelters, rescues and people in the community.
