Animal shelter asking for help identifying man who dumped 3 dogs after hours

GREENE COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – One animal shelter in the East is seeking the public’s help after animals were dumped at the shelter after hours.

The Greene County Animal Shelter released surveillance footage of what appears to be a man pulling up in a silver truck and dumping three dogs into a fenced area.

The shelter on Highway 903 underscores that it is never right to dump animals after hours, as there is a process. The shelter reports the dogs are safe, “thankfully after the way he tossed them like trash.”

Although animal dumping is illegal, the shelter says it is at an all-time high.

If you have any information on this man or the truck he was driving, the shelter asks that you call them at (252)253-2237.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
