Animal Foundation fundraiser finds homes for 27 dogs, names Best in Show winner

The Animal Foundation’s annual fundraiser, Best in Show, took place at the Thomas & Mack Center on Sunday, raising funds for the Foundation’s lifesaving programs and successfully finding homes for 27 shelter dogs.

Long Leg Lou, a 4-year-old Irish Wolfhound, was crowned Best in Show.

The celebrity judges included City of Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley, Strip Magician Mat Franco, News 3/CW Meteorologist Chloe Koast, and Las Vegas Review-Journal Columnist John “Kats” Katsilometes.

They selected the overall winner, who charmed the crowd with his long legs and gentle personality.

Best in Show is the largest fundraiser of the year for The Animal Foundation.

Those unable to attend are encouraged to support the Foundation’s lifesaving programs by donating to animalfoundation.com.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
