Animal cruelty investigation underway after dead dogs found dumped in Washington

LONGVIEW, Wash. — The Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two incidents of animal cruelty after discovering dead dogs dumped at separate locations.

On December 20, authorities found one carcass near Columbia Heights Road and Laulainen Road, and another near the 500 block of Ostrander Road.

Due to the similar circumstances, both cases are being treated as crimes of animal cruelty.

The Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information about these incidents, or who may have witnessed suspicious activity at these locations on or before December 20, to contact them at 360-577-3092.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
