Four dogs have been rescued by humane agents after being found in deplorable conditions in Youngstown.

According to Animal Charity of Ohio, humane agents were called to the home to help Youngstown police, code enforcement and adult protective services Thursday afternoon.

Three dogs, two huskies and a chihuahua, were rescued from the first home. All three dogs are safe, healthy and recovering at Animal Charity.

Another dog was rescued from a different red-tagged house in Youngstown.

The dog, now named Luke, is severely emaciated and dehydrated with visible bones. He was left with no food or water inside the condemned home.

Luke is getting constant care, medical treatment, food and water. Animal Charity said he has a long road ahead of him.
