I feel like I’m going to get myself into some hot water with this one, but yee-haw! I absolutely despise the infamous Maine red snapper hot dog. It’s probably fair to say most of this state is obsessed with them and it makes me think you’d eat cereal dry with a spoon.

Let me explain what a red hot dog is and why people in the northeast love them. It’s literally all about the snap sound their casing makes paired with their bright crimson red color. It just excites people, this is what they look like.
