American Family Children’s Hospital patients take Valentine’s Day photos with dogs

MADISON, Wis. — Even though it’s about to snow quite a lot, don’t forget it’s Friday and Valentine’s Day!

Patients at American Family Children’s Hospital got an opportunity to celebrate the day of love by taking pictures with facility dogs.

These patients also grabbed Valentine’s Day coloring books and received extra love.

Canine Health and Medical Pals, a facility dog program that launched in 2021, has grown its team to four fluffy dogs. They work with staff full-time and use specific coping strategies with patients.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
