All ‘Eyes’ Are on Regina King With Sculptural 3D Face Handbag for Schiaparelli’s Couture Spring 2025 Paris Fashion Week Show

Regina King made an appearance at the Schiaparelli Haute Couture spring 2025 show on Tuesday during Paris Fashion Week, wearing a white tailored suit from the fashion house. The ensemble featured structured shoulders, sharp lapels and a fitted silhouette emphasizing Schiaparelli’s tailoring. It served as a canvas for dynamic embellishments, including a gold accent at the waist served as a focal point, drawing attention to the sleek minimalist design of the blazer. The wide-legged and floor-grazing trousers created a balanced contrast against the structured jacket.

King’s accessories highlighted Schiaparelli’s signature surrealist aesthetic. She carried a sculptural handbag in brown leather adorned with an abstract 3D face motif. The design incorporated metallic gold accents, including a raised nose, lips and hardware detail adding depth.

Her footwear complemented the ensemble as she paired the look with gold pointed-toe heels that echoed the metallic embellishments in her attire. For jewelry, King opted for gold hoop earrings and a delicate necklace. Her hair was styled in long sleek braids.

King has previously showed her affinity for statement unique textures and bold silhouettes for public appearances. Last October, she attended the SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s “Shirley” film conversation wearing a Nanushka maxidress. The gown featured a thigh-high slit and a structured buckle detail on the bodice.

The Schiaparelli show opened Paris Fashion Week with creative director Daniel Roseberry’s latest couture collection. Renowned for its surrealist influences and intricate craftsmanship, Schiaparelli’s designs frequently feature sculptural elements throughout the collections. Backstage, Roseberry described his vision for the collection to WWD, stating, “I’m over the idea that minimalism equals modernism, and so I found that my eye was hungry and thirsting for something that was a bit less streamlined, a bit more worked.”
