GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Alachua County Fire Rescue (ACFR) firefighters saved three dogs from a house fire and used pet rescue masks to revive them.
The masks were donated to ACFR by the Marion Alachua Dog Training Association.
“They had a positive effect in delivering and rendering services not just to the people in the public but also to their pets as well so we’re happy with the outcome,” Health and Safety Captain Kenneth Kurth said.
The fire was located at 7518 SW 47th Lane and was caused by an accidental kitchen fire.
