Affidavit: ‘Dogs found with blood around mouths, bodies’

PARAGOULD, Ark. (KAIT) – Animal control euthanized nine dogs after police say a woman left the animals in such poor conditions.

Paragould police responded on Monday, April 28, to an apartment complex on Vance Street after receiving a report of animal abuse.

Officers spoke to the landlord, who told them that 68-year-old Patricia Gibson had “moved out and left her dogs behind.”

Animal control arrived and found nine dogs left in the apartment with blood around their mouths and bodies, the affidavit stated.

Authorities also noted that the dogs looked to be left without food or water.

“Animal control stated that all of the dogs were extremely emaciated and had a bad case of parvo,” Paragould Detective Tron Beesley wrote in the affidavit.

Paragould Police Public Information Specialist Jason Elms told K8 News that Gibson was cited to court for health reasons.

The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
