Labrador Retriever mix
Pumpkin and Spice came from rural Louisiana. Their owner was selling their litter at a Walmart. One of our rescue partners was able to get two of them but the owner refused to give up the rest unless they paid $800 for them. Hello, I’m Spice which is fitting because my foster mom says I spice up the family with my big personality. I love to run around and explore new things but when I am unsure of something, I like to check in with foster mom and get a quick snuggle before going back out to explore. I love to play with toys and wrestle with my liter mate. I also love to snuggle and take naps in your lap if you let me. I can’t wait to join my new family!
Male (Intact) — 5 months old
Cattle Dog mix
Snow Globe’s pups were born in a shelter but quickly moved to a loving foster home. Their mom, Snow Globe, quickly found her home so now her babies want a home of their own….Toast loves nothing more than chasing his littermates, pouncing on them, and then running away so that they can chase him. He is a real cuddler and very loving. Kids are his favorite, but he would do well in most any home. He would do well as a member of a pack or a solo dog. If you want a smart, loving pup, Toast is your best bet!

Sapphire’s 6 were found on an oil well site in rural Louisiana – obviously dumped there. All are affectionate, attentive, happy puppies who will grow to be medium-size adult dogs. Sap has the cutest little face and beautiful coloring. He is curious and loving. Sap loves snuggling and exploring the back yard. He is an independent, courageous little guy.

Remi is an adorable, lively little fellow. He loves to play and is awesome with kids and other dogs. He is super smart, but also loves to snuggle when play time is over. He would enjoy being a second dog, but a solo dog would also be great if he had someone who likes to take walks or runs. Come meet him and see how wonderful he is.

Australian Shepherd mix
Philly is a playful and curious pup. Once he warms up he is ready to run with the big guys, literally! His foster home has two large dogs (almost 70 pounds each) and he has been getting along with them really well, in addition to young kids. He is very food motivated which has been great for housebreaking and he can now go through the night in his crate with no accidents. He loves chewing on sticks and even apples that have fallen from the tree in the backyard. He is a super playful pup that is sure to warm your heart and put a smile on your face!

Beagle / Catahoula Leopard Dog mix
These puppies from Louisiana are some of the happiest and healthiest puppies you’ll ever see. They arrived in Virginia in August in great shape, and have thrived under our care. Everyone of these puppies has a wonderful dispositions and are energetic and playful. Lenny, the other tuxedo twin (black and white) is a real doll. He is very muscular, compact and solid and sturdy. He is very laid back and sweet.

Brittany came to the rescue at four weeks old because her mom stopped nursing. She is currently in a foster home with her siblings. Brittany loves everything about a human; she is quite the snuggler. Brittany has a healthy appetite and is sleeping in a crate at night. Brittany is a playful pup with a very sweet personality. She would make a great addition to any family.
